Hello fellow members, this is the new meet and greet section. This is where I will randomly put a members name from the members list so that you can visit someone new and spread the community spirit. And now, for next week's contest: Magic Carpet Ride

An idea brought to me by *zweeZwyy read and learn!

MAGIC CARPET

~Annushkka originally developed this style. I was attracted by her results & saw a lot of promise for creating carpets or sarong design images. I had fruitful play with her methods & passed it on to my mentor =IDeviant who developed them further.

I'd love to see what Magic Carpets Apophysis members can conjure in a WTC.

The general idea is a folded carpet or sarong flying in breeze or lying on something. The main thing is that fold effect. Just a flat image doesn't create the effect. So put some bend, fold, waves2, twist, rippled, curve or whatever works for you to bring it alive.

Annushkka's method:

Create a Grand Julian, put on an FT, knock off the linear & add stretchy pants=1 & start playing with taurus & watch what happens.

IDeviant's TIP:
Also, replacing stretchy_pants with perspective gives undulation to an otherwise flat landscape with that dash of taurus.
