WTC: Vote for Halloween!

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 11, 2009, 9:15 AM
November 2009

Welcome to the first WTC as a group! Since this group thing is new and fresh and we are still trying to iron out the kinks it has created, I think it would be a good idea to put the WTC on hold for a couple weeks in order to make sure everything is functioning properly. There is a CSS contest in the works and much more activity going on around here. Don't worry, we will get it back up and running soon! In the meantime, vote for the Halloween submissions below that these people worked hard on! Same voting rules apply. Top 3, can’t vote for your own! Many thanks :thanks:

Congrats you three! Don’t worry about sitting the next one out, we will be back soon!

Be sure to read the rules, which can be found here - [link] . To vote, send the names of your top three deviants in a note entitled WTC Vote to #Apophysis The top three choices makes it easier for us to determine a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Votes are due within the next 2 weeks or so.

Here are the entries for the WTC: Halloween! This means you cannot enter this theme anymore.

Thanks for the entries and good luck to those who have entered!!

You gotta render them. After that, you get an image which can be submitted here.

Home of Apophysis 7X - get it here
You can of course also take a free tour through a gallery of mind catching abstracts ;-)
And never forget: The :cake: is a lie!
:iconpantherwitch4982:
You have to render the images before you can submit them. We can't really read params and see what it will look like on your screen.

Do you mean render it (get it from what you see on the screen to an actual image)?

If so, on the top toolbar, there is a little button that looks like a gear (it's called "render to disk"). Click on that, select where you want the image saved to - make sure you end the name of the piece with .png - set the dimensions of the image (1280x1024, 1280x800 that kind of a thing), set your quality (~4000 is good), set the filter radius (~0.3), and oversample (1 or 2), and click render. It takes a while depending on your computer, but once it is done you should have a completed image.
