Development Of Apophysis 3

Hello fellow fractalist. :wave:

It's been a long time since the official Apophysis was released. The latest official released was Apophysis 2.09 in the year of 2009. Since then, Official Apophysis developer was on a vacum and the development of Apophysis was taken over by `Xyrus02 with his Apophysis7x. It has many feature that original Apo didn't have, such as integration with chaotica, and many bug fixes and tweaks.

But now, the development of the new official Apophysis will be start again with the come back of one of its developer, ~utak3r. It will be a brand new Apophysis 3! :w00t: The development is still on the very early state and ~utak3r need our input about what you want to see on the brand new Apophysis 3.

So, go to ~utak3r's journal and give him your idea about how the brand new Apophysis 3 should look like.

Hey all...

I'm not new to Apo or fractals in general but I just started working with Apo 7x on the Mac and I've got a few questions.

How do I change the file save type to something other than .png?

I've rendered what I'm hoping is a beautiful design, but after I've rendered the file (done it twice now), i can't find the final product. Any clues?

Just a quick TY for letting me join the group.... am just getting back into playing with apophysis after a break of almost 5 years >.<

The software has come on a long way since I last played with it, and compared to most of you guys I doubt I'm even qualified enough to claim to be a talented amatuer these days, but its a pleasure to soak up the atmosphere and bring myself up to date with a good friendly group :)

Hi all. Just getting back into using Apophysis again (must say I am glad I have. I love this program). I have the 64 bit version of 7x but have just realised it is missing a few features. Is there much benefit to using this version and if so can I run both versions or will I need to uninstall before installing the 32 bit?

I just remembered that I have a high-memory version as well as the regular version of Apophysis 7x.15 on my computer. Do you know what the difference between these two is? Would there be an advantage to using the high-memory version? Thanks!
